Little Miracles

On February 3, 2012, Gladden and Jeanette received a phone call many prospective adoptive parents dream and pray for on a daily if not hourly basis.  The joy this young married couple and their families have experienced over the course of this month is contagious and inspiring.  Jacinda and I had the pleasure of traveling with Gladden and Jeanette to Boston, Massachusetts to share in the Sacrament of Baptism for this beautiful newborn.  In the Catholic faith, it is customary for the Godmother to dress the baby in their christening attire.  Here are a few photographs of this special tradition.  Welcome to the world Marie Therese Charlotte!

Jacinda is Expecting!

Here are a few 6 month photographs of my beautiful wife as she progresses in her pregnancy.  An otherwise dreary day in north east ohio, I told Jacinda, "If the sun comes out, we're dropping everything and taking some pictures."  We were blessed with beautiful end to the day as the sun peaked through the clouds during the golden hours of the evening.  Even more beautiful was Jacinda.  She truly glowed with the excitement of a new mother, and I feel these photographs convey that emotion in a powerful way.  Stay tuned for more images as she progresses.  Until then, enjoy!

The Merold Family

Josh and Jamie are a vibrant couple whose youthful spirit and wholesome personalities have built a solid foundation for their two children Max and Avery.  Jacinda and I were so excited to photograph this great family, and after a few cancellations in hopes for better weather, we met in historic Burton, Ohio for an afternoon of coffee, conversation, and photos!  Here are some of our favorites from the day.

We were able to take a quick break to shoot a few Anniversary photos for Josh and Jamie.  We used an old saw mill as a background and came up with some truly stunning images.  Their love is so apparent!

Jamie surprised us with some delicious cookies and a very thoughtful thank you card!  It is rare to find a family so generous and fun to be around.  We felt so blessed to be able to share time with this inspiring family, and look forward to hanging out very soon!
